These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of locksmith services by ONE LOCKSMITH, a trading name of UK ALPHA SERVICES LTD. By requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We provide emergency entry, lock repairs, lock replacements, and general locksmith services for domestic and commercial properties. We dispatch our directly managed professional technicians to your requested location.
Response Times: While we aim to provide a rapid response (typically within 20-30 minutes for emergencies), all arrival times provided are estimates. We cannot be held liable for delays caused by traffic, severe weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are committed to transparent pricing in accordance with consumer protection regulations:
Payment is due strictly upon completion of the work. Our technicians carry secure mobile card terminals. We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not offer credit accounts for standard residential customers. Commercial clients requiring invoicing must agree to credit terms in writing prior to the commencement of work.
If you need to cancel our service, you must do so immediately. If a cancellation is made after a technician has already been dispatched and is en route to your property, a cancellation fee (equivalent to the standard call-out charge) will be payable to cover travel and lost time.
We stand by the quality of our workmanship and the parts we supply:
We employ non-destructive entry methods wherever possible. However, in certain emergencies (e.g., failed mechanisms, lost keys to high-security locks), destructive entry may be the only option. The technician will inform you if this is necessary before proceeding.
We accept no liability for pre-existing damage to doors, frames, or locking mechanisms. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods and services provided, except where liability cannot be excluded by UK law.
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
